WHO celebrates 75 years of promoting health for all

Hey, do you know what day it is on April 7? It’s World Health Day! It’s a special day when we all think about our health and how to make it better for everyone. It’s also the birthday of the World Health Organization (WHO), which is like the coolest club for health in the world. They started in 1948 and they have been working hard ever since to help people stay healthy, safe and happy.

The theme for World Health Day 2023 is “Health for All“. That means that everyone should have the chance to be healthy, no matter who they are or where they live. It also means that we need to work together to solve the big health problems that we face, like diseases, pollution, stress and unfairness.

Here are some things that we can do to make health for all a reality:

– 🏥 We can respect our right to health and demand quality health services from our governments and providers.
– 🚑 We can support strong health systems that can take care of us when we are sick and help us prevent getting sick in the first place.
– ❤️‍🩹 We can join forces with other countries, groups and people who care about health and share our ideas and resources.
– 🛟 We can learn from the past, act in the present and plan for the future of health.
