Role Description

As a CPQ Technical consultant, you will own the integrity and strength of the solutions recommended. You’ll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you.

You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce CPQ platform but just as importantly, top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful solutions.

Work Experience

Preferred Experience:-

• Technical Consultant :-
• At least 1 years' working experience on Salesforce CPQ projects and;
• Minimum of 5 years' working experience.
• Sr. Developer :-
• At least 1 years' working experience on Salesforce CPQ projects and;
• Minimum of 3 years' working experience.
• Developer :-
• At least 1 years' working experience on Salesforce CPQ projects and;
• Minimum of 2 years' working experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilites are as follows:-

• Participate in regular pricing and quoting meetings.
• Take full ownership of the Salesforce CPQ implementation through all phases of development.
• Change and release management.
• Partner with relevant business unit to release changes to production.
• CPQ best practices based on business needs and requirements.
• Strong understanding of systems and processes supporting Sales and Marketing organizations.
• To be involved in system development projects and work closely with Business Analyst on the system requirements.
• Responsible for analyzing user requirements, programming, implementing projects and providing support on various system/projects.
• To develop knowledge and expertise in the applications, utilities, underlying core programming skill sets and development methodology's and procedures used within the systems environment.
• Assist in the design of new/revised computer systems by studying existing systems, analyzing user requirements, and specifying new/enhanced system components, and writing/amending programs according to specifications.

Skills & Competencies Requirements

Preferred skills as follows:-

• 1+ years Salesforce administration, release management, and deployment expertise.
• Functional knowledge of 3rd party applications that integrate with CPQ.
• 3+ years of experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Self-directed learner and problem solver. Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and working as part of an agile team.
• Experience using declarative programming tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.
• 1+ years of experience building quote-to- cash solutions.
• Familiarity with agile project management tools.
• Strong working knowledge of sales processes Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive.

Qualifications

Desirable & a plus if have as the following:-

• Bachelor’s / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance, or a similar field of study.
• Minimum of 2 Salesforce certifications, including Certified Salesforce CPQ Specialist.
• Active in the Salesforce community.
